Roads have some twists & turns and a great deal of elevation changes. Driving the speed limit will reduce the possible effects of motion sickness. Dramamine will help; we use the bracelets. Discouraging reading & the use of electronics, keeping focused on the scenery will also help.

It is very much a make your own fun place, hiking and walking. Timberline Lodge is a must but gets very busy for lunch. We were stunned by the scenery but we are old fogeys, not sure how long a 9 year old can sit and coo st scenery, no matter howcamazing
