Our 100-year-old farmhouse has been lovingly renovated and will accommodate 6 guests. The farmhouse retains its character through its screen doors, heart-pine wood floors, period furnishings, and wood stove. Interior furnishings were chosen to provide the plain and simple comforts of the early 20th Century. The back porch rockers afford practically the same view today as they have for one hundred years. The house, old barn and outbuildings create a setting for you to not just see the valley, but actually be a part of it. You can be as active as you wish—or as inactive. Watch the sun wake up the valley, experience the amazing vistas of a light-free night sky, hike the many trails along the Buffalo River. Canoe, fish, cook, read, visit, explore or just laze around. This farmstay offers many ways for you to enjoy the Upper Buffalo River and the woodlands, pastures, streams, and bluffs that make up the historic Boxley Valley.
