Aggregator launches online compliance tool for brokers
WEBIn partnership with QED Risk Services, the aggregator has launched QED CompliFast, an online compliance program designed to ensure 100% NCCP compliance. The tool will be offered to all brokers holding an Australian credit licence (ACL) along with an external review via CompliFast to see how they are meeting their requirements as an ACL holder.
Corporate adviser sentenced to two years for insider trading
WEBOn March 26, the Supreme Court of Western Australia delivered a judgment sentencing Cameron Kerr Waugh to two years of imprisonment for insider trading offences, ASIC reported. The court stipulated that Waugh could be released after serving nine months, contingent upon his agreement to a 15-month good behaviour recognisance.
